Rescue Me ID: 18-01-21-00193Rebel the Boxer (male)

Boxer Mix    Age: Puppy

Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Rebel is a sweet sweet dog that really deserves a chance at a home with a family that won't keep him out on a chain 24/7, like his previous owners did. He had no real shelter and was left to sit in the hot sun, get soaked by torrential rain, and get frost bite from sitting in icy cold weather. Even through all that, he is the sweetest, most loving dog on the planted. He will give you big mushy face kisses, sit next to you while watching tv, play with his toys, and he even plays run around the table with you. I can't express enough what a great dog Rebel is. His only fault is that he is not comfortable with other dogs. We have seen him ... (Read More)relaxed around a couple dogs, and seems OK with females, but he was scared by some rough, unfriendly neighborhood dogs and no longer trust them. Because of this we ask that he go to an owner with experience or with a family that doesn't own any other dogs. Oh and BTW we have seen him around children and he is great with them. Please if you have a large yard for Rebel to run and play with, you like going for walks or hiking and would like a companion, if you just like to lay around and have someone to watch TV with, or just play fetch, consider adding this beautiful guy into your life. You will be happy you did. This is a courtesy post so please contact info@ffosk9rescue.org for further information on how to adopt Rebel the Boxer (Less)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Rebel is a super sweet little guy and just wants to hang with his humans. He is OK with kids as long as they know not to pull his ears, tail, or poke at him. He is a Chihuahua mix and has a lot of the Chi characteristics like trembling when he is nervous or stressed. Other than that is just a loveable little lap dog.He loves to sleep with his humans under the covers and snuggle while watching TV.Rebel will let you know he wants out by sitting in front of you and stare at you. If you say do you want to go outside he will get excited. Sometimes if you are not paying attention he will push you with his front feet. Its really cute the way he ... (Read More)does that!He likes toys sometimes and likes to play silly little games when he is in the mood.He loves playing outside for short periods but really prefers being in the house. He will let you put doggie sweaters on him to help keep him warm during cold weather.I suggest that Rebel only go to a home with children 6+ yrs old. (Less)

Animal ID: 201801002Patrick (male)

Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Heartworm Positive

Patrick is a 77 pound 9 yr old Bull dog possibly mixed with Boston terrier. Recently he lost his human after 4 yrs of being totally spoiled and loved more than any dog could possibly be loved. He is very well behaved and knows several commands. His favorites things to do is sit and ride quietly in the front seat next to you or even in the back seat. He is extremely well behaved in the house too. He is great with kids of all ages and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He was good with cats prior to be adopted 4 yrs ago. Patrick did test positive for heart worm so due to his age and the fact that he was very light positive, and ... (Read More)microphilaria negative, we opted for the slow kill. This means he will get a treatment of Advantage Multi (will be supplied to adopter) once every two weeks for 6 months. You couldn't ask for a better dog than Patrick. He deserves to go to a home where he will be able to live out the rest of his life being spoiled and loved like he is use to. To adopt Partrick please go to www.ffosk9resq.org for the application to adopt. (Less)

Animal ID: 201710128Blu (male)

German Shorthaired Pointer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Blu is a super sweet boy that gets along with everyone. He does know some commands but he is still in need of some basic obedience training. Blu spent a couple weeks in a shelter and the staff there thought he was a real special boy and reached out to rescue so his life could be spared. As far as we can tell he is good with other dogs, he doesn't seem to mind the ducks and other farm animals that come up to his kennel so a farm would be a good place for him. He walks OK on leash but does pull a little. He rides well in a car when crated and will jump right in. To fill out an application to adopt visit our website at www.ffosk9resq.org

Buddy was left abandoned for 5 long months when his owners moved away. For 5 long months Buddy waited and waited for his owners to return. Never once leaving the property except for a few times to find refuge under the neighbors porch to get out of the rain. No one knows where he slept at night but he would be there in his spot every morning. Day after day waiting for his owners to return. Never giving up hope. Buddy is such a sweet guy. He is very loving and he seems so happy to have a warm bed at night and someone there to love him He does have arthritis of the spine and hip which will require management. He is currently taking Dasuquin daily and doing so well with it. He gets around better and has become playful with the other dogs. He has a favorite spot he likes to lay and either chew on his favorite toy or will lay quietly the whole day except for an occasional random bark. We like to think he is telling us what a great life he has now and thanking us.
