Rescue Me ID: 17-06-24-00328Peanut (male)

Dachshund    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This is Peanut. He is a little camera shy, but is a pure bred daschund. Found wandering on a country road covered with fleas snd ticks. He weighs 12 pounds, has been neutered, is heart worm negative and has been brought up to date on vaccinations as well as flea and heart worm prevention. He is crate trained, but still needs a bit of remedial house training. I'd recommend a belly band indoors for awhile. Since he is now neutered, that will improve. He is a true love bug and will be your little shadow. He is just waiting for a family to call his own..Don't you need a little ginger in your life?

Chihuahua Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Bella is a Chug, a Chihuahua/Pug designer pup but she doesn't let that go to her head. She is about a year old, 8 lbs, already spayed, heartworm negative and up-to-date on shots, flea and heartworm prevention. It takes her a little while to warm up but once she knows she can trust you, she is nothing but a bundle of love. She is very playful but also settles down and loves to cuddle. She appears to be house trained, if taken out frequently or will use a pad if necessary. She is all set or her forever home.

Buddy was left abandoned for 5 long months when his owners moved away. For 5 long months Buddy waited and waited for his owners to return. Never once leaving the property except for a few times to find refuge under the neighbors porch to get out of the rain. No one knows where he slept at night but he would be there in his spot every morning. Day after day waiting for his owners to return. Never giving up hope. Buddy is such a sweet guy. He is very loving and he seems so happy to have a warm bed at night and someone there to love him He does have arthritis of the spine and hip which will require management. He is currently taking Dasuquin daily and doing so well with it. He gets around better and has become playful with the other dogs. He has a favorite spot he likes to lay and either chew on his favorite toy or will lay quietly the whole day except for an occasional random bark. We like to think he is telling us what a great life he has now and thanking us. Buddy may only have less then 5 yrs to live but he is so deserving of a loving home with a family that will never again abandoned him. OUT OF STATE adoptions are possible.
